It’s been years since I have posted anything to this website yet I’ve continued to keep it online for the last half decade, without much of an end goal or reason to keep it active. But I did. This has always been my little tiny piece of the online world and I guess I just wanted to keep hold of it.

The world is a lot different than the world I was living in when I posted here last. We’ve seen a lot of evil and chaos in the world and we’ve currently surviving the worst global pandemic in the last century. Racial tensions are at an all time high since WWII, cops keep killing innocent black men, the US government keeps babies in cages, and snakes can fly. Seriously. I don’t think I would have believed it had you told me years ago what life had in store for us in 2020. But here we are.

I’ve been working from home since the beginning of March, all activities have been cancelled, no sports, no socialising. A lot of people have struggled to manage the drastic change in daily life. I have one coping skilled that I learned when I was younger – keep your hands busy and keep creating beauty and you’ll be okay.

And that’s what I’ve done since March. I’ve spent most of my free time, working on projects that I’ve dreamt about, tried crafts I’ve always wanted to try and finally got around to finishing projects I had started long, long ago. I think it’s time to get back to the life of craft, it’s where I am the most happy.
